According to Hesiod's Theogony, what did Aphrodite emerge from?
Correct!
In Hesiod's Theogony, Aphrodite emerged from sea foam. After Cronus threw the severed parts of Uranus into the sea, white foam formed around them and the goddess arose from it. Hesiod also connects her epithets with Cythera and Cyprus, places where she was said to come ashore. In Homer's tradition, however, Aphrodite has a different ancestry as the daughter of Zeus and Dione.
