How long is an Olympic size swimming pool?
Correct!
Olympic swimming events involve swimming in a 50 meter long pool. These basins are called Long Course Meters (LCM). World Aquatics runs international long course competitions and records accordingly for 50 meter pools. There are also 25-meter pools, especially for short-course swimming. This means that athletes have to turn significantly more often at the same competition distance.
An Olympic swimming pool is 50 meters long and therefore corresponds to the international long course format.
