Astronomy and spaceflight - Solar system - Saturn’s moons
Which moon is the only one in the solar system with a dense atmosphere?
Correct!
Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, is the only moon in our solar system with a dense atmosphere. It consists of about 95% nitrogen and roughly 5% methane, along with smaller amounts of other carbon-bearing compounds. Its surface has rivers, lakes, and seas of liquid methane and ethane. Along with Earth, Titan is the only known world in the solar system with persistent surface liquids and a comparable cycle of evaporation, clouds, rain, and rivers.
