The WHO recommends limiting free sugars to less than what share of daily energy intake?
Correct!
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that adults and children limit free sugars to less than 10% of daily energy intake. Reducing them further to below 5% can provide additional health benefits. Free sugars include added sugars as well as sugars in honey, syrups, fruit juices, and fruit juice concentrates. In a diet of about 2,000 kilocalories, 10% corresponds to approximately 50 grams of free sugars.
The WHO recommendation concerns free sugars, not all the sugars naturally present in whole fruit.
